Help Preliminary and Final
A preliminary document with a final version to follow. Red Herring language will be printed on the cover of the preliminary version only.

Final Only
A document which has no preliminary version. No Red Herring language is used on the cover.

Preliminarly (POS) Final (OS) Help In the Preliminary box enter the estimated number of copies for the preliminary version of the document.

In the Final box enter the estimated number of copies for the final version of the document.

If there will not be a preliminary version of the document (i.e. Final Only) enter the estimated number of copies in the Final box only.

Help Enter the total number of camera-ready pages you will be submitting, including appendices.

Help Standard (non-glossy): This type of cover has the same finish (non glossy) as the interior pages. This is a good choice for plain text or covers with minimal color work.
Glossy Cover : This type of cover is a thicker paper stock with a smooth, glossy outer finish. This can be a good choice if your cover will include any multi-color or full color work.


Help Color Work can range from single color work (spot color) for logos, to multi-color (2-3 colors) for logos and graphics, or full color (4 color) for photo quality images.


Help Saddle Stitch books are folded in the center and fastened with staples. This binding style is limited to 168 pages or less. Similar to the way a magazine would be bound.

Perfect Bound books are made of several folded pockets of pages, milled square at the spine and a glued on cover. Books bound in this style have the look of traditional paperback binding. Typically used for books with 80 to 500 pages.
